Security Officer

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Security Officer with a strong background in Data Governance, Data Management, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fraud Prevention, and Financial Crime Compliance. In this role, you will help safeguard our information assets, strengthen data-driven decision making, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to fraud, anti-money laundering (AML), data protection and internal security standards.

This role requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to security.

As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with business leaders, data owners, security teams, risk management, compliance, and technology specialists to identify risks, implement controls, and drive a secure and compliant data environment.

• Advise stakeholders on Data Governance and secure Data Management best practices.
• Assess and mitigate security risks associated with AI and emerging technologies.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support fraud detection, fraud prevention, and investigation activities from a security perspective.
• Conduct security assessments regarding data usage, data quality, and data protection.
• Collaborate with tech teams to establish secure and compliant data processes.
• Perform security reviews, audits, and compliance assessments.
• Advise management on strategic security and data-related risks.

Eisen

• AI risk management frameworks
• ISO 27001
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Data Management, Risk Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security, risk, compliance, or data governance roles.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance frameworks
• Strong knowledge of Data Management principles
• Strong knowledge of Information Security and Cyber Security
• Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence governance and risk management
• Strong knowledge of Fraud prevention and fraud investigation
• Strong knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations
• Strong knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) processes
• Strong knowledge of Data privacy regulations (GDPR)
• Experience performing risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Language: English and Dutch mandatory

Wensen

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CDMP, CISA or similar.
• Experience with AI risk management frameworks.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services, government, or critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, and data governance frameworks.
